The outcome of LeTAC

My whole body is aching, the outcome of being "whacked upside down" (term we use in tkd) and whacking other people yesterday. I sparred with a girl from Penang GTA, was kicked 'below the belt' and fell down on the floor, left elbow bruised but I was damned sakit hati sebab I was the one who was given the warning for falling down instead of the illegal kick launched by the girl! I lost to her because I had three warnings (3 warnings = 1 point deduction). That happened during my individual sparring. I won bronze medal, and the Penang GTA girl got silver.

During the team sparring, Legends had to spar against UITM in the first round. Siti was the first fighter, won over UITM. Pin, second fighter, lost. So I had to come out as the third fighter and sparred with the girl that taught me tkd at school, she used to be the asst. instructor of Cikgu Rosli (former instructor). I kept on attacking her until my instructor told me to play defensive because I had scored enough points to win the match. So, we won the the first round and met Kedah B in the final round. I was the first fighter, and Kedah B's first sparer was even better compared to the UITM girls. I won the first match, and Siti won the second one. Alhamdulillah, we managed to become the champion.

Pattern event, we finally managed to beat the Kedah team after waiting for almost 4-5 years. None of the referees (during the pattern event) were from Legends, so we won a "clean" match. We became the overall champion for ladies team events.

Another silver medal came from my individual pattern event, lost to the Kedah girl that I sparred during the team event.

The King came to watch our tournament. I didn't recognize him at first, perhaps I was too kelam kabut yesterday. We talked for a while and then I had to run to the secretariat counter to help organize the next event.

This morning, I skipped my Linguistic class because I had some sort of fever and was too tired to drive to uni. Tomorrow, after class, I still have to go to the centre to train for the grading test that will take place this Sunday...
