My body is tired, but I can't sleep, dunno why lah.
It's been a very extremely busy month. I've written more letters within this period compared to those times when I was the secretary of this club, that club, the other club at school. I couldn't even stand to simply stare at the Microsoft Word window, being a secretary is definitely a burdensome for me! Not only letters, but also speeches, and I had to do some transliteration works because not many people who know how to speak in English could actually write in English and some people who know how to converse in Malay have really serious problem in writing Malay speeches. I'm not an expert in either language, though my native L is Malay and linguistics is one of my majors ^__^. It is something that I should worry about, but...I have too many things to deal with right now! I speak Malay fluently but I do have some problems when writing an article/paper work/letter that requires some sort of formality. If I'm not mistaken I got B for BM Lanjutan and B- for BM Kerjaya (compulsory courses in UIA).
When I went for training earlier today, Kee Lin told me that I have to break two layers of tiles for demonstration during the opening ceremony of LeTAC. He suggested that I use the elbowing technique. Not that I doubt my ability to break the tiles, but I was more worried that the tiles might injury my eyes and face. Had seen a friend who did a knife-hand chop on tiles, injuring his face and the tiles cut through his tendon. That was damned scary! So...I decided to perform downward kick, but when I was brought to the store-room to check out the tiles, I was quite surprised to see the thickness of the tiles. I thought it was like the tiles in the kitchen or the bathroom...but, it was roof tiles. Alamak! Pray hard that I'll be able to break those tiles this Saturday, if not ah, malu giler tuh!
So, if you want to see me in action and our team demonstrating some basic and advanced techniques in taekwon-do, please drop by at the Sunway Lagoon Club (near Sunway Medical Centre, beside PalmVille apartment/condo) this Saturday. The demo will take place at around 3pm. The events for colourbelts will be held on Saturday, from 9am-10pm and open category colourbelts and blackbelts (all categories) events will be held on Sunday from 9am-7pm.
