First Person Shooter Games

I love to play First Person Shooter type of games. FPS is somewhat giving me the glimpse of how the modern warfare is done. For instance, the game which I am playing right now is called Rainbow Six. It's a counter terrorism based game inspired by the prolific writer Tom Clancy.

Another game is Ghost Recon, a commando squad names the Ghost acting on behalf of the United States government to hunt and destroy all the terrorist activities around the globe.

Each mission is given a set of specific objectives. You, as a player, have the liberty to choose your own men and weapon arsenal. In this game, the creator provides you with the latest weapon arsenal exist in US military. It's all up to you to strategize of how to complete the mission.

I find this type of games really stimulates my brain especially in tactical warfare. Not only that, it also improves my cognitive in term of planning ahead and putting everything in order albeit I must say, my real life outside of the computer world hasn't been improved any bit at all. Hehehe..but well, that's another story altogether, kan?
