Internet is a gift of the development of technology. In this broadband era, we're introduced to yet another means of expressing ourselves openly - BLOG or the electronic journal/diary. The traditional diaries/personal journals are often being kept away from the wild eyes of other people, but blog has given a new definition and dimension towards it. One of the many wonders of blogging is that it has the power to bridge in the gap between the people, either in distance, or time, or even ideas and perspectives. I've been blogging for a year now, I've managed to get new friends in this short period of time compared to the years I spent in matriculation and in university (not yet graduated though). Of course, my ideas are not always agreed upon by the readers but I do believe that constructive criticism is the mechanism that helps to develop the strong mental part of the society. If you expect the society to be submissive, and agree with everything that you say, it shows only one thing - the passiveness of the intellectual state of the society.
I've just woke up from another short nap. Some people might be wondering what's so great about blogging that some bloggers are willing to join in the blogging marathon and sacrifice their 24hrs of life - every moment is so precious and yet, these bloggers are spending their time, tapping and clicking on the keyboard, typing some articles that might not even be read by others. Mind you, blogging do give some satisfaction to a certain extent, and this blogathon is a charity drive and perhaps the most important reason is that bloggers believe in communicating messages either based on their daily life routines or even an exaggerated piece of literary work on progress - you'd never know what a person could be learn from one simple posting in a blog.
Keep on bloggging folks! And you, yeah you, keep on reading even if you're not into blogging.
