woke up this morning with a sore throat, running nose, fever...

tournament day 2 - blackbelts and above 16 events

For the first time in my life, in 8 years of my involvement in tkd, I won GOLD medal for pattern event. And from the very beginning, I felt that the GOLD is mine! But...the GOLD medal was snatched from my hand by a stupid centre judge who asked us to do re-match so that her stupid daughter can get MY gold medal. I was damn upset lah! Actually, I went out once, to perform my pattern...already won, nobody scored higher than me. Than another blackbelt Mr. Chow (5/6th dan) told my instructor, Ms.5th Dan blackbelt (right judge) and that stupid centre judge, "why don't we just play2 one, ask your student (telling Ms.5th Dan blackbelt) to do again...just like performing a pattern lah. Confirmed GOLD already". My instructor argued that it won't be fair for me lah, bcos I scored the highest point, and the points were given by three judges, Ms.5th Dan blackbelt, Ms.Stupid another 5th Dan Makcik, and another 4th Dan instructor. But, to show our sporting spirit, she finally gave in, and my number was called and had to perform my pattern side by side with Choi-dunno-what's-her name, the DAUGHTER of the Ms.Stupid another 5th Dan Makcik. This time, Ms.Stupid another 5th Dan Makcik gave her DAUGHTER 6 points, and gave me 5.5. Hey, just now you said play2 only, why suddenly wanna take MY gold medal away. Ms. 5th Dan blackbelt quarrelled with Ms.Stupid another 5th Dan Makcik. Then she said, "aiyah Mr.Chow said it's a re-match, so this is the final result lah". Damn bull**** lah that lady. (I'm not used to using bad words and addressing people with bad nicknames, but at this particular moment, I really wanna say the 4-letter-word right to Ms.Stupid another 5th Dan Makcik's face.) While I was "kutuk"-ing her with my instructor and friends, she was standing with her daughter behind us, perhaps she heard us, I sure hope she did, and I think she heard us loud and clear bcos she was looking direct to my face after my instructor went to the other ring. The great Ms.Stupid 5th Dan Makcik did the weigh-in for the blackbelt ladies sparring event. I, as usual, joined the middle weight (58-67) category. And her DAUGHTER, she put under heavy weight (68-73). She's more or else the same size n weight with me and she was supposed to join my category. I was really hoping that she's in my category so that I can do some practical revenge, "whack her upside-down" -(term that LTA students coined). Aiyo, the mother so clever one, put her under heavy weight, got two people only in that category, so medals assured lah. That kakak, the opponent of the daughter whack her teruk2 one, her face turned red and she almost cried, I think she cried already bcos I saw her wiping her tears lah. Everybody thought that kakak will surely get the gold medal...erm, the mother being a mother gave the gold to her daughter...yet another undeserving GOLD medal for the stupid daughter. She won TWO GOLD MEDALS! but she lost her dignity as a real blackbelt bcos of her mother. Now, people will start questioning her mother's authority as a judge, and her capability as a blackbelt. Sewey lah you! My friend recorded my re-match, a good evidence to certify that I'm the actual GOLD medallist. Erm, but...the more tournament you join, the more mature you become. I don't really care about the medal, I was glad when I got the silver medal, the blackbelts from other academies came to congratulate me and they considered me as the real winner. Well, we had a great time "kutuk"-ing Ms.Stupid and her stupid daughter hehehe...
I got SILVER for pattern (same as last year), and BRONZE for sparring - failed to defend my 2-year in a row champ title, it's not easy to spar with a running nose and fever. SO BLUR!

The results:

LTA blackbelts men A-16: SILVER - pattern, LOST - sparring (1st round)
Jatesh: GOLD - pattern, LOST - sparring (if I'm not mistaken lah)
Loga: LOST - pattern, GOLD - sparring
Siew Pin : SILVER - pattern, BRONZE - sparring
Me: SILVER - pattern, BRONZE - sparring
SAS colourbelts men A-16: SILVER - pattern, BRONZE - sparring
