Tournament day 1. Tired!! Had to jaga the kids from LTA - no, not kids, MONSTERS! Brought them to McD for lunch, aiyak, ordered Happy Meal, got the toy and played as if the Summit tu bapak diorang punya. Two went missing, looked all over the place, found them at the game station. Got no more energy la for the events tmr...

Was "coaching" Sity, during his sparring event. Made it to the final round. I was cheering him and giving instruction from outside the ring, suddenly a malay boy tapped my knee. "Apasal kakak nih, sokong orang India? (Sity- an Indian boy)", I was quite surprised with the question. He looked as if he's about to eat me. "Kakak nih orang melayu, pakai tudung, kenapa sokong orang India". Aiyo, budak kecik pun racist ker, ni mesti dirosakkan fikiran dek mak bapak atau coach. I told him, Sity's my student of course la I have to support him. He was not satisfied with the answer, he argued that his friend who was sparring with SIty at that time is Malay, so I should sokong him. I explained to him nicely that we shouldn't pilih bulu, be it Malay, Chinese or Indian. In fact in Islam, we should not look at a person's physical appearance but at his faith and morality. I even told him that my mom is Cindian. He was quite blur and kept quiet for a while. Then he continued to marah2 me till the match ended. Sity lost. I asked the racist boy, whether he has any Indian friends..."ada, satu!". He then stood up and walked to his coach, Mr. Kumar...erm, an INDIAN coach. Perhaps his satu Indian friend.

Today's result - 17th TTA tournament, Summit USJ.

SAS ladies U-15 : sparring SILVER, pattern GOLD
LTA ladies U-15: sparring GOLD, pattern SILVER
SAS men U-15: sparring GOLD, pattern LOST! (if I'm not mistaken la, maybe bronze kot)
"On da run" brother: individual sparring SILVER, helped out SAS men U-15 to win GOLD
Sity: sparring SILVER (cried bcos so close to GOLD, but...), pattern hampeh!
Trevor - minus ONE mark for arguing with the referee, soh chai!

I know there are a few individual events won by SAS boys, but can't recall who.

Tmr we'll see whether I can defend my 2-year in a row champ title hehehe...I feel so tak bersemangat!
