As promised...

Day 1
We arrived at Bandar Udara Hussein Sastranegara at around 12noon (M'sian time). We went straight to Cassadua Guest House to check in. Then we went to Kampung Daun for lunch. The place was very beautiful and it has its own waterfall. Unfortunately, when the ordered food arrived, it didn't taste as good. I ate Nasi Timbel Komplit. It's rice wrapped in daun pisang accompanied with sweet (read: manis!) soup, vegetables, sambal belacan and fried chicken. The food was rather cold and quite tasteless! I drank Sirsak juice - durian belanda! The drink was quite nice though. In terms of the price, I think it's quite expensive. Maybe it's because of the place, its ambience and what not. The drink alone costs me Rp.17,500 more or less RM6.The food, drink, tax and service charges = Rp. 45,000 = >< RM15.40. I think it's quite pricey because food usually comes cheap in Bandung.
After lunch, we went to Tangkuban Perahu. The place reminded me of Genting and Cameron Highland. It was quite cold and misty. Upon arriving at the 'peak', rain started pouring. We were offered umbrellas and we discovered that it was 'rented' to us! We had to pay Rp10,000 per umbrella. Dasyat kan idea derang nak buat bisnes? Tapi nak buat camne kan, tempat orang, kita respect la dan bayar jelah. Due to rain, we didn't manage to go down to see the ciater. So we climbed into our MPV and headed to a drier place --> RUMAH MODE!
Pergh, sampai RUMAH MODE aku tiba2 rasa macam dah balik kat Malaysia pulak. Macam tempat shopping kat the Curve dan adik beradik seangkatan, tapi it was smaller in size. At RUMAH MODE, you'll find designer's label such as MNG, Prada, Mt. Blanc (and the list goes on) with cheaper price tags. Most of my friends fell for those things and spent quite a lot of money on them. I didn't buy anything there though. I thought of going to a place where I can shop for things that represent Bandung better than those at RUMAH MODE.
When they had finished shopping, we went to a Sundanese restaurant. The food was quite good and tasty (esp. when compared with Kg. Daun) and the price was oklah. I paid Rp. 27,500 for Soda Susu, Nasi putih, sotong bakar and ulam(s).
To be honest, I was very happy when we finally reached Cassadua. It marked the end of a very tiring day!
...to be continued.
