It's just one of those OFF days

Salute to France for playing so well in the final match against Italy.

Salute to Zidane for forcing Metarazzi to think twice before opening his mouth next time. The headbutt must have landed hard on his chest!

I am not promoting violence in football or in any sport, but if I'm at Zizou's place, I might have done the same thing. Nobody except Metarazzi and him knows what happened in the pitch, but I'm sure he will not react in such manner if Metarazzi's "allegations" or insults were not that serious. Yes, he managed to provoke Zidane and he was shown the red card (this reminds me of C.Ronaldo-the-winking-boy vs. Rooney). Almost everybody claims that it is rather a disgraceful way of ending one's career at the international arena, but for me it doesn't matter anymore as Zidane has shown what he's capable of after coming out of his retirement (and with little time to practice and get back into shape) and led France to the very final stage of Fifa WC 2006. To blame Zidane (or Trezeguet for that matter) for France's failure of clinching the WC trophy would be unfair as penalty shootouts have always been unpredictable and perhaps (to me) not the best way to determine the better team to clinch such a big title.

After the game, I slept for an hour and half. My schedule for yesterday was really packed as we had to divide the many, many classes among the five (six - this week only) of us. My classes began at 9 and finished at 6 (lunch break at 1-2pm) ... aiyakkkkkkkkkkkk, very the tired one I tell you. Sampai rumah, after maghrib terus tutup chapter for the day ^__^.

This semester my workload is 30 contact hours per week...adeh!
