I told one of the officers about my car and he said to wait in it till his friend comes. So, I walked back towards my car, pretending to be blind of the-Oh My God, ain't she a fashion pollutant or what?-stare from the onlookers.
Few minutes later, a second officer came and asked me what's wrong with car. If I knew what was wrong with it, I would have fixed it on my own.
"Enjin rasanya ni encik"
"Emmm...kena letak tepi ni. Awak masuk dalam kete, gear kosong pastu pelan2 lepaskan brek..."
I did as I was told to, and the officer ushered the traffic to move to the other lane.
"Dah call sesapa ke"
(Malu nak cakap takde credit) "Err...saya tak bawak hanfon"
"Emmm...ooo. Ayah keje ape?"
"
"Nah, ambik ni"
He gave me his handphone and I made a call to my dad's handphone. My dad was slightly puzzled..."how on earth did you end up going towards Hicom?". The officer had a garang look on his face, I didn't dare to overuse his credit (if prepaid phone lah kan) so I told my dad to speak to the officer for direction. After that, the officer left me by the roadside to go back and help his friend monitor the traffic.
Five minutes later, another officer came with a disgust in his look. He stopped his bike in front of me and asked, "apa hal ni" - memang garang gile! I explained to him that my car broke down and I was waiting for my dad.
"Apalah, kete rosak tengah jam macam ni...menyusahkan betul. Kena tak pergi tepi kuil tu"
"Ni dah kat bahu jalan ni encik. Tak boleh naik kat kuil tu sebab nanti block orang nak keluar masuk kuil"
"Ish...merepek. Awak duduk dalam kete tu, reverse...saya tolak."
He stopped a biker and asked him to push the car up the temple's parking lot. Unfortunately, the strength of two men was not enough to push the car up the hill towards the parking lot. He asked me to lift the hand break. He left me in the middle of the road that connects the temple (car park) and the main road. My car was blocking the entrance and the exit! What a @#$%*!!
Luckily, a guy (I think he's a driving instructor, he drove a sekolah memandu's car) who wanted to go inside the temple parked his car in front of mine, and told me that he's going to find few people to help. So he gathered about 8-9 men from around the temple, including those cute guys selling flowers outside the sacred temple hehehe. Finally, the car was moved to a better place that won't be blocking any entrance or exit, or road or even the road shoulder. I said thank you to all of them (not sure whether they heard it, but I did said it pretty loud - malu nak keluar kereta hahaha)
My dad then came together with my mom. He jump-started my car and eventually it died when the cable was disconnected. He called his foreman and we waited some more. While I was standing near the bush (yeah, there's some sort of bush near the parking lot) something passed by my feet. I didn't notice anything, and I'm glad I didn't. My mom then told me that a snake had just tumpang lalu near my left leg. (heesh...lucky I didn't see it, I might frighten the poor thing and he might bite me, and then I would perhaps be given a free ride in an ambulance - I'm pretty imaginative huh? but I'd njoy fire truck more ^__^)
While waiting for the mechanic (I used foreman, because he's the chief mechanic at his place, and he sounded bloody proud of that fact!), the traffic officer who lended his handphone to me came to check whether the problem had been solved. My dad had a small chat with him, now he looked slightly relaxed and friendlier. Not long after that, a lady and her child in Waja stopped beside my car, and she was now blocking the exit of the temple. She had a flat tyre. My mom asked her to move her car inside the temple (well, there's nothing to be afraid of, they're not going to throw you out if you go in there, believe me, I went to two different temples on CNY's eve last year!), she was hesitant at first but my mom has this special aura that could convince people to trust her instinct and suggestions (hehehehe). Her husband then came to help my dad change her Waja's tyre and the ladies had a brief chat...well, obviously I had to remain in the car as my pants would only invite more funny stares.

I'd like to thank those who helped me on that particular day. My parents, and the lansi mechanic. The instructor from ManduCekap Inst., the "flower-guys", the traffic officers and the rest who helped the instructor to pushed the car uphill towards the car park. (ahaks...rasa macam baru menang grammy plak hehehe)
Have fun during the holidays, people!
