nope, I didn't go there to buy birthday cards for my mom, my two brothers and my sister who all have their birthdays in November.

Last weekend was perhaps the most hectic weekend I ever had throughout this year! I spent the whole Saturday with my tkd friends, doing two demos (Yayasan BSKL and Cheras Badminton Hall). Had a great time playing the 'bad guy' and kena kicked at the butt (Mitch, your quick thinking, fast reaction saved us all *wink*). At the Badminton Hall, kena gelak kaw2 by the kids because I didn't hear KL calling out the instructions and I stood like kayu when everbody else was busy doing their thing for the demo (read: it was recorded on tape, and I looked pretty silly!)
On Sunday, I drove to Simpang Lima, accompanied by the two Raja(s) and tink3r, to attend a close friend's wedding reception. We talked, we laughed, we gossiped all the way to Simpang Lima and back.
Raja was one of my best'est' friends in school. However, after Form 5, our relationship became quite cold - we text(ed) each other once in a while, call(ed) each other on the phone a lot lesser. On Eid this year, fortunately, the relationship was mended and I went to beraya at her house with Nik. And we decided to go to Nik's engagement party together (but ended up not going due to our agak hectic schedule - sorry Nik). Then we were invited to Wati's wed reception and we drove all the way to Tmn.Bedena to celebrate her special day.
We spoke of our school, our teachers, and things that happened during our four-five years stay in that school - it's like digging up the old almost forgotten memories. After five very long years, we became the best of friends, again.
I wonder what will happen when we've decided to settle down, and have our own family...like Wati, it'd be different, I'm sure.
