Kerja...kerja...kerja...(cerita P.Ramlee)
Well, I am officially employed at the moment (on probation though). Been working for three days now. Baru lagi. Nothing much to be said about the job and the working environment, though I feel like I need more human contact (no, my colleagues are not aliens from planet zargus). It is as if I've fallen in love with my PC, my hardcover notebook and my pens - tak angkat pandangan dari PC and the table most of the time (I think my Malay is deteriorating - tanda kurang penggunaan dan praktis).
Whew, probably I spent too much time trying to figure out what to say to my colleagues that I didn't even manage a polite "good morning" , "goodbye" and "hi". I did try though - am not blaming them in any ways - everybody's busy like the honeybees and I'm the "shy-shy cat" type. ("though" seems to be my latest word-addiction lah). We just need more time to get to know each other, tapi overall it's quite oklah.
I like the job because it's a challenge for me to find out more about things that I have very little knowledge of - M-Commerce, Mobile business, etc.etc. If I were given the chance to choose what to write on, I'd probably go for computer/electronic gadgets or automotive. I could learn about these stuff when doing the research, it'd be fun (not I'm not a nerd lah, but learning new things is fun!)
Since I have to commute from PJ to Ampang daily (except on Saturdays and Sundays) I noticed that my "routined-life" (as Sherwin puts it)(I am emphasizing on the "ed" , in case some people think there's such word in dictionaries) has and still approaching some changes.
- have to wake up at 6am or earlier. no more "snoozing" every five minutes
- everything must be done in a very limited time
- have to board the LRT by 7.20 or miss the feeder bus
- learn how to be anak kambing masuk kandang (scattered at first, and then have to properly line-up) when the bus arrives
- never, never miss my breakfast (wah, when you brain's working hard ah, your tummy feels hungrier - that's my theory lah)
- no more TKD nights on Tuesday and Thursday - tak larat to go to class (that's bad!! considering that I'm very passionate about martial arts!!)
- lunch break would denote makan@Mamak and pray@dePalma
- pray asar miss the earlier feeder bus, miss asar - go to hell! (hehehe, prefer the former than the latter)
Travelling makes me sick. Ditambah pula duduk dalam bilik berhawa dingin kebanyakkan masa (boleh ke translate "most of the time" into that phrase LOL!)...Erm, I need to bring my jacket next week, eye-drop to moisten my eyes, my walkman (yeah, a bit old-fashioned, tak ada duit to buy a discman, kalau dah beli kena beli CDs plak...ish2, membazir!! MP3 - malas nak download!!)
Another thing I noticed is that - I appreciate my mom's cooking more and more everyday (and the other things that she does around the house of course).
Mama...thank you, thank you, thank you. love ya' always
