Down the MEMORY school lane

Received a call from an admirer (hahahaha!) while surfing the net last night. Mind you, I had many admirers in school, unfortunately, most of them were girls and form one boys - heh! I was kinda popular because of taekwon-do and I was the "arch-rival" of another popular figure in school. We appeared to be good friends, but...heh, that was in the past, who cares lah!

The girl who called me was indeed my numero uno admirer. She hasn't given up hope on me although I treat her like @$#%!! Whenever she called, I would sound so uninterested, dull and bored. I know it's rude, but I DON'T feel like doing anything about it hehe. I've changed a bit throughout the years to be a better person, but don't put high expectations on me, you might fall down and break your neck.

When I was in form four, she was in form two. Let's name her, Ee. One day a junior dormmate told me a funny thing that Ee did when I passed by her dorm. She had just bought a berus kain (aler, yang guna untuk basuh baju tu lah) and was testing it on her kain batik. While busy brushing the kain batik that she wore that day, she saw me walking in front of her dorm, she quickly brushed her hair with the berus kain to conceal her activity of "testing the product". She was worried that I might saw her testing the berus so she had to pretend as if it was a comb. FYI, I didn't even see her in that dorm because I was rushing. I had to laugh when my dormmate told me about it, and to make the matter worse, I borrowed another brush, which was used to polish the pengawas's shoes and some polishing "substance" from a friend. I told my dormmate to pass it to Ee,

"And Fida, cakap dengan dia, try lah guna polish tu sekali untuk kaler rambut dia yang perang tuh. Pewarna rambut ni free jer, hitam berkilat tuh! For sure, she won't be harassed by the pengawas during spot check hehehe"

So, Fida went to her dorm and passed my message...everybody on that floor heard her crying that day. I was sooo kejam, but really, I didn't intend to be so mean. I thought she'd be able to take it, I was wrong and I said sorry...and she kept on harassing me these days with her phone calls, talking about her current affairs, inviting me to go out for a movie, or lunch and so on.

Deep down inside I feel sorry for her, and this morning, when I woke up, I sent her an sms wishing her a good day ahead...
