English Language Teaching Presentation

Last thursday, in computer application class, we were assigned to be english teachers, and teach the class on anything that has got to do with language. We had to prepare (two weeks before the presentation) a language teaching website to be used as a teaching aid in the class. I asked Wiwi (partner lah, working in group) to buang undi (ye ke) to determine who'll be the first presenter - ingatkan boleh present second or third, tapi Wiwi terlebih ong, so we had to be the first presenter. Overall oklah, our target group was standard five students, and our classmates were very sporting and at the same time "kerek" as well. When Kak deel, kak syeel and shan presented, their target group was second language learner. I pretended to be a Malaysian Indian. Siap dengan slang Indian cakap english, and shan really kenakan saya during the class - adoi, was forced to read out a sentence sounding like an Indian. After that she asked me "where are you from, miss?" and my answer was "well, partly from India, partly from Malaysia". Well, quite true actually. My dad is malay, my mom is Indian Chinese. Her grandma is chinese, her grandad is indian, her mother is cindian* and her dad is india - they're malabari. The Indian blood is more dominant compared to the chinese blod, that's why I consider my mom as Indian Chinese - and what does this combo (Malay, Chinese, Indian) produce - me and my siblings, the new Malaysian "breed" hehehe.

*cindian - chinese indian

- I think I should sleep for a while, eih Orang Kita, take over please, thank you!!

p/s: care to visit my basic webbie - http://www.geocities.com/loloyalia
- the 1st page was done by Wiwi, and I did the exercises.
