Dedicated to Mothers out there...
I've just cleaned up the drain, got stuck because of the dried leaves that fell into it last night. When I was a lot younger, and a lot smaller in size, Mom used to tell me that doing such chores - washing your own toilet and bathroom, cleaning up the drain, doing the laundry etc. will keep my feet on the ground. I didn't understand it at first, later I discovered that actually Mom wanted me to be a down-to-earth person who knows her roots, and serves others above her own self, be thankful and humble of the great things that the future might bring. I might be somebody in few years time, but these house chores has trained me to take up different roles everyday. I guess I'm the drain cleaner for today, tomorrow I'm the garbage collector and the day after that I'm back to being a student again ^__^ . We should not look down upon other people. You know, mothers have their own special ways to nurture and educate the children. And since May is the month for mothers, I'm dedicating all the entries written within this month to all mothers and mothers-to-be. So, June kena dedicate for fathers lah pulak hehehe. I wrote a poem for Mom 4-5 days before Mothers'Day, I folded it up and put it in my organizer...hmm, guess what? I've misplaced it and haven't found it yet, erm, will give it to her next year perhaps hehe.
