I've just finished my last paper this morning. Quite tough though! I hate the subject and I'm done with it. I couldn't answer the first question. No matter how much I've prepared myself for this exam, I'm still not good enough!mmm...the lecturer has all the tricks in her pocket la, every semester she managed to set her questions to be "shocking" and "torturing" in some ways. You can never expect what's her next "move" - 'Murder by numbers' (interesting film!)
A friend got 30 outta 30 for mid-term because of his sharp memory, he memorized word by word. I photocopied his answer script to compare it with mine. Geez, the lecturer marked one point for every quotation from the handouts she gave earlier. Gile ke? My answer was like two-three quotations from the handouts and the rest were elaborations and explainations. Herm...and I thought in university we're not supposed to simply memorize without understanding. From my friend's answer script I could detect that he didn't really understand what the hell was going on in the class. He simply COPIED from the notes. And getting full mark for his memorization was quite unfair when I spent lots of time to comprehend the real thing! I got 15! It's not about jealousy, or jaki pasal orang dapat markah bagus. But this is university student we're talking about. Knowledge is not something that you memorize without comprehension, knowledge is not a thing to be kept in books and notes. Knowledge is to be utilized, and to use the knowledge accordingly it requires wisdom...but then again, exams and tests are not the fair measure for knowledge...at least not in the Malaysian context! We're spoiling our own undergraduates and when they go out to the real field they will realise how memorization alone is not sufficient. I possess good memory, alhamdulillah! But I'm for real! I don't go and hafal the whole text book! I don't want to be spoilt by our education system! I want to be attached to individualist's society where competency plays a more important role rather than paper qualification. Life is REAL!

I've changed the skin again. Some people told me that it's hard to read because of the colour. Yeah, perhaps...This blog is still under construction. I don't know what to put at the links corner (any suggestions?) and I'm having problem to retrive the archive. Erm, I guess I'll be spending the weekend to do some "trial and error"- experiment on this blog.

Have a great weekend folks!
