Today I sat for my first paper. Wasn't so bad, considering the amount of short stories, novels and criticism that I have to read. I have another 4 papers to go. Good luck!

Somebody asked me why Lieawulf? Why not use my own name, my real name. Well here goes my reply. First of all, it is quite normal to have a pen name, and in this cyberspace I just want to be known as Lieawulf. No. 2 - Lieawulf is the combination of my name and "Beowulf", the first epic I have ever learned to appreciate and it has taught me a lot. No. 3 - Lie-a-wulf, since I'm involved in writing fiction (and sometimes poetry), I consider myself to be a "liar" and wolf (cousin of fox) is very much associated with lies, thus, I choose to use this name. What I write is based on real life, but it is not necessary to be true (no direct relation or attachment to a particular event/issue/being). So I'm a "liar" in a vey much positive sense la, trying to educate the public thru my "fictional lies" like what Sir Philip Sidney said in his criticism - "to teach and delight". Why I choose Lieawulf?...simply because I like it and I'm exercising my rights :) .

I managed to write a poem today, after four years (hehehe, I consider this to be not a very good poem la, sounds more like a rap lyric or something, playing with rhymes)...thought it would help to clear my mind, but I'm still in the state of confusion!
